The Best and Worst Korean Drama Heroines

Korean Dramas got lots of characters, plot stories, heroes, and of course heroines. Well, they could be the jewel or junk in those dramas lol when there are hundreds of K-Drama titles, the heroine types aren't very variable in some way. Almost all of them are "poor Cinderella" waiting for the prince charming... (well I still watch them anyway). So.... This is the list of my most lovable K-Drama heroine and the most spiteful heroines I've seen hahahaha forgive me, but don't bother to read what you don't like :p

THE LOVABLE

5. Oh Doo Ri

Does anyone even know who she is? Okay, she's one of the supporting characters from a musical drama titled "What's Up". She's rebellious, cold, harsh, and mysterious. Her character caught my eye because most of girls in K-Dramas wears girly frilly clothes (I'm not talking about gender bender here, okay), but she got pixie hair and heavy eyeliner lol what surprised me was that she wore a girly frilly clothes on her audition for that school but totally changes her attitudes after she got in :O turns out that she doesn't like how her mother forced her to be a princess-like girl so she starts that rebel acts. Played by Im Joo Eun, she's one of my favorite heroine.... way to go, Doo Ri!

4. Chun Song Yi

If you're only this recently following K-Dramas, then you'd be familiar with this woman, Chun Song Yi. She's maybe one of the most memorable and favorable character from K-Dramas this year, aside from his male counterpart, the alien Do Min Joon. The reason she got on my list is because, of course, she's bizarre, insane, crazy, weird and you could throw anything that rhyme with those words. Well, she's a bit air headed but she's not stupid. She can't order a coffee because she had never done it herself in her whole life. The way Jun Ji Hyun portraying this narcissist top Korean actress is marvelous lol she could make me laugh my butt off this minute and make me cry a river the next minute. The most possible reason for me to love her is her confidence. When she got framed of murdering and all the brands start avoiding her, she got on her own feet, not whimpering how hard her life is... instead, she said that she's the one who cut all ties with those brands LOL So, this insanely gorgeous and gorgeously insane girl got number 4 on my list!

3. Song Eun Jo

Awwwww, who doesn't love Moon Geun Young? OMG, she's one of the most talented yet underrated Korean actress I ever know. One of her most memorable character for me was Song Eun Jo, the complete opposite of the kind and lovely Cinderella, closely resembling Cinderella's sister (ehem, the title says it all). I was taken by surprise that she could play this kind of character. Eun Jo hardly smiles and barely talk, even when she talks she only says hurtful things. But no one could blame her since she got harsh childhood and that's how the world had shaped her. Even though she seems so hard on the outside, she's actually very caring but no one knows it and she can't really express it. Then she turns to be so admirable when love has touched her... she knows what she want in her life then start striving for education then finishing college and oh, I totally admire K-Drama heroine who actually got brain! Fierce Song Eun Jo, you got on my big three list, congrats~~~

2. Lee Bo Na

I myself surprised by the fact that I'd pick someone from such a lousy drama as Heirs lol but yeah like the caption says, "You just gotta love Lee Bo Na". She's indeed a brat, annoyed by many things, sharp with her words but OMG she's just too lovely and caring. She got lots of complains but she done lots of helping too. Nobody likes Eun Sang (the main heroine) in that school (except her boyfriend and Kim Tan), Lee Bo Na doesn't like her too, but she has done no harm to Eun Sang, even helping her in disguise of not wanting to see her boyfriend helping another girl. A radio DJ, perfect English, and played by one of my favorite idol Krystal, she got this high on this list.

And soooooo............ THE CROWN GOES TO........................................

1. Jo Anna/Na Sang Shil

Another less popular heroine on this list but she's my all time favorite in the whole K-Drama universe and the epitome of perfect comedic girl xD I even ended up liking the actress who plays this character, yeah, gorgeous Han Ye Seul! She acts as Jo Anna.... Rich, beautiful, intellect, and arrogant, can be simplified as a bitch. Lol yeah that was Jo Anna, a pure rude lady who likes to torture and seeing other people in pain. Then, once upon a time, she got an accident and forgot who she was and all. Found by the hero, Jang Chul Soo, who was lying at her that her name is Na Sang Shil and they're lovers. So, funny things happens and I love the way Jo Anna changes, to be more human like and caring for others. It's always funny to watch how Jo Anna still acts mighty high when she's just a homeless girl living in someone's house. So, round of applause for Han Ye Seul -with her perfect English, beautiful looks, and marvelous acting- for snatching the first place on this list!!!

THE NOT-SO-LOVABLE

1. Cha Eun Sang

I..... really...... hate...... this........... character............. Period.
Everything about The Heirs is just wrong, just so wrong. Horrible plot, horrible chaebols with terrible personalities (except Lee Bo Na of course), and disturbing female lead. WHY?! WHY IS THIS DRAMA GOT SO POPULAR?! I totally hate dumb, self-pitying, crying-all-the-time, and the kind of heroine who'd just get depended on the male lead.... Cha Eun Sang is the perfect example of the most annoying heroine ever! She's blaming her mute mother for being poor, keep crying on how poor she is, keep hating everyone for how poor she is, while, yuck, she got no talents at all (she get bad grades on school). So what should be liked about Cha Eun Sang? Nothing. I even pity her mother for listening to all of her shits everyday -_- Actually I can't even understand what's so wrong about her life? She got to travel abroad (HOLLYWOOD! FREAKIN HOLLYWOOD!), she got to one of the nicest school around, got liked by Kim Woo Bin (sorry, Lee Min Ho isn't my cup of tea).... yet she always complains how her life is so miserable. Would you please look at how I live, Cha Eun Sang? Congrats for being the most spiteful character in K-Drama land :)

2. Go Mi Nyeo/Go Mi Nam

(the fact that both are Park Shin Hye's are pure coincidence and unintentional)
The second character I hate the most is from the infamous gender-bender drama, You're Beautiful. Go Mi Nyeo is a nurse turned idol (male idol to be precise), replacing her brother (Go Mi Nam) who got plastic surgery in America. Why I got annoyed by her? Well... because her intelligence level is so.... worrisome. She believes that pushing your nose will control your love for someone, she believes that there's actually a lucky day when she got free ice creams and discounts everywhere, and she got her finger stuck together while gluing a hairpin -_- the list can keep going on but it's a waste............ so, I'm not in for those kind of dumb-cutesy and yeah, Go Mi Nyeo, you got second on this list.

3. Go Dok Mi

NO! NO! NO! No hating on Park Shin Hye, but why does she happen to play all kinds of characters that I hate? Hm. Well... that caption explains all.... even she didn't like herself, so why would I? Why? Okay. Done. Congratulation, Miss Go Dok Mi for getting on my third list *and Park Shin Hye for sweeping the big three*.

4. Shin Hae Sung

I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist tight while watching this drama. Why? Watching her was just a pain in the eye >_< she's dumb. She's dumb. OH MY GOD. She acts dumb and tries to be cute all the time. Why, K-Drama? Why? Who'd find those kind of character cute? Shin Hae Sung can't sing, can't dance, and can't act, she even almost burns her own room. She doesn't know the right time to back off or butt in in people's problem. Uh oh... why :( I can't contain my rage anymore so better to end this soon. Kang Sora, you should be glad that Shin Hye's character had swept all of the top spots.

5. Oh Ha Ni

Oh Ha Ni can't cook, bad at studying, doesn't have a dream and all she do is following Baek Seung Jo. She's talent-less yet she cried like the world's gonna end when Seung Jo get close to another woman, which is independent and intellect. Seriously, can't she think that at least, she has to make herself presentable? Beauty is not what I want to point here, but her brain. Brain! She doesn't want to study and bad at anything and yet she kept clinging on the pilot student of her school. LIKE SERIOUSLY, OH HA NI! What's so great about yourself? -_- Well, the dumber one will be Baek Seung Jo, who ditched a devoted, beautiful, and intellect woman for someone so clingy so silly as Oh Ha Ni. I'm done with you guys.

So... That was my opinion for the Yes or No in K-Drama heroines. What do you think? Well, this is an opinion :) Opinion :)
